Finance & Administration

 

The ministry of Finance & Administration helps to provide policies and leadership in support of the day-to-day operations of the parish as well as guidance in managing the parish’s finances. Both the Finance Council and the Pastoral Council are appointed positions by the Pastor – contact Fr. Jason if interested.

 

Finance & Administration Ministries at OLOL: 

 

Annual Diocesan Appeal

Assist with educating parishioners about annual appeal and with the fundraising efforts. Office assistance is a definite need during the autumn appeal.

Building & Grounds Committee

This commission overseas the maintenance of the parish property and meets bi-monthly or on as needed basis. We need dedicated individuals with skills in the following areas: architecture, electrical, general repairs, plumbing, carpentry, locksmith, paint/wallpaper, and yard/lawn/garden.

Finance Council

A team of parish men and women who meet monthly as advisors to the pastor on financial planning for the parish in the administration and accountability of parish finances, budget, parish facilities and long-range financial development.

Money Counters

A team of parishioners who count the collection on Monday mornings after weekend Masses have been celebrated.

Office Assistance

Assist Parish Office staff as needed with parish-wide mailings and with placing inserts into parish bulletins on Friday afternoons. Assist with other projects as needed.

Parish Bulletin

Assist with stories, photos and announcements for the weekly bulletin.

Assist with content and maintenance of the parish website.

Parish Council

The council is the coordinating body for all ministries within the parish. Meetings are held monthly, except for July.

Stewardship Council

Coordinates activities that foster the sharing of our time, talent and treasure to build up the Church. Helps parishioners live a Christ-centered life by encouraging stewardship as a way of life for Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.
