Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
RCIA is the process by which adults inquire about the Catholic Church, it is an opportunity for non-Catholics to inquire about the faith and learn what it means to be Catholic. The process is divided into four (4) periods, beginning in late August and continuing through Pentecost (mid May or June). Each time period has a different focus and differing time requirements. The Catholic faith is explained in the sessions, while participants discern their faith journey and its relationship with the Catholic Church. Participants also experience community with members of the parish who have offered their support.
There is no obligation for any participant to join the Church. While the process follows a set pattern, anyone interested in inquiry can begin at any time by contacting the Pastoral Team through the main office.
